Zayde Buti is a Boston-based performance artist whose work looks critically and humorously at contemporary social issues. He has numerous works dealing with the cases of advertising, as well as with the food/sex relationship. His act draws primarily from performance art, theater, comedy, and hip-hop traditions. Character being central to his work, his identities include I'M LOVIN' IT, Duncan (of Dunkin' Donuts), and King Burger. He has performed extensively throughout Boston, with appearances at Mobius Arts Space, New England Conservatory, Jacques Cabaret, and The Middle East. He also engages public space with guerrilla street performances: his targets include malls, fast food chains, college dorms, trains, and public parks. He holds a BFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He released his debut album "i'm lovin' it" in 2011.
